ACME Solar Holdings Limited Commissions Sixth Phase of BESS Project in Jaisalmer

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has announced the commissioning of the sixth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Jaisalmer, marking another milestone in its renewable energy expansion.

The project has been executed through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, and is located across the villages of Sanwara and Mehar Nagar in Pokhran tehsil. The newly commissioned phase adds a capacity of 38 MW / 80.252 MWh, with the Commercial Operation Date (COD) scheduled for April 15, 2026.

With this development, the total commissioned capacity under ACME Suryodaya Private Limited has reached 285 MW / 601.904 MWh, reflecting the company’s rapid progress in deploying large-scale energy storage infrastructure.

The project forms part of a series of phased developments announced by the company in recent months, highlighting an accelerated pace of execution in the battery energy storage segment.

The expansion underscores the increasing importance of energy storage systems in India’s power sector, particularly in supporting renewable energy integration by balancing supply and demand and enhancing grid stability.

The update has been formally disclosed to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited in compliance with regulatory requirements under SEBI norms.
