ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has commissioned new capacity across two large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Rajasthan, marking significant progress in strengthening India’s energy storage infrastructure.
In a regulatory filing to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India, the company detailed the commissioning milestones achieved through its subsidiaries.
ACME Surya Power Private Limited has commissioned the first phase of its BESS project in Jaimalsar village, Bikaner, adding 60 MW / 269.606 MWh of storage capacity. The total planned capacity for the project stands at 250 MW / 1103.392 MWh, with the Commercial Operation Date (COD) scheduled for March 25, 2026.
Meanwhile, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited has commissioned the fourth phase of its BESS project across Sanwara and Mehar Nagar in Jaisalmer district, adding 95 MW / 200.64 MWh.
