Enviro Infra Engineers Limited has reported a significant expansion in its business operations, with its total order book exceeding ₹4,600 crore as of April 16, 2026. The growth follows the addition of new orders worth over ₹2,240 crore since March 2026, providing revenue visibility for the next 15 to 24 months.
A key development in the company’s growth strategy is its entry into the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) segment. EIEL has secured four BESS projects from NTPC Limited with a combined capacity of 930 MWh. The projects, valued at approximately ₹1,070 crore, will be executed across multiple states, including Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, and Telangana.
The company also continues to strengthen its core water and wastewater treatment business. It recently secured a project worth ₹411 crore from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited under the AMRUT 2.0 in Aurangabad. Additionally, EIEL won two projects valued at approximately ₹972 crore in Pune and Nashik under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0.
The water and wastewater segment accounts for more than ₹2,500 crore of the company’s total order book, while operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts contribute over ₹1,100 crore.
Sanjay Jain, Chairman of Enviro Infra Engineers, stated that the steady inflow of orders reflects the company’s execution capabilities and strategic focus on high-growth infrastructure sectors. He noted that while the core water business provides stability, the company’s expansion into BESS aligns with its efforts to diversify into emerging renewable energy solutions.
Looking ahead, EIEL expects to achieve revenue of approximately ₹2,000 crore in the financial year 2027. The company’s growth is supported by government initiatives such as Namami Gange Programme and the Swachh Bharat Mission, which continue to drive investments in environmental infrastructure.
