Enfinity Global Partners with European Investor to Develop 486 MW Battery Energy Storage Project in Italy

Enfinity Global Inc., a leading renewable energy company, has announced the successful closing of an equity and development partnership with a prominent European investor to complete a 486 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Italy.

Located in the Emilia Romagna region, the project will feature a total storage capacity of 1,944 MWh with a 4-hour duration. Under the agreement, Enfinity Global will continue to oversee the permitting process to ensure smooth project execution and timely commissioning.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in Enfinity Global’s capital formation strategy and strengthens its position as a key player in Italy’s clean energy infrastructure development. The company currently holds an extensive portfolio in the country, including 2.6 GW of solar PV and 5.3 GW of energy storage projects, with 245 MW already operational and 564 MW under construction.

By integrating large-scale energy storage with solar PV, Enfinity Global aims to drive Italy’s energy transition, delivering clean, reliable, and cost-effective power while enhancing the nation’s industrial competitiveness and long-term sustainability.
