Honeywell has announced a global strategic collaboration with LS ELECTRIC to jointly develop and market cutting-edge hardware and software solutions that will simplify power management and distribution for data centers and commercial buildings, helping operators improve efficiency, reliability, and resilience.

The partnership brings together LS ELECTRIC’s expertise in power systems with Honeywell’s leadership in building automation and controls, enabling seamless integration between critical power distribution and broader building management functions. This synergy will allow data center operators to better align electrical load with capacity, enhancing operational resiliency.

The collaboration will begin with integrated switchgear and power management systems for data centers, enabling uninterrupted power distribution to critical systems. Both companies also plan to develop next-generation electrical power monitoring systems powered by Honeywell Forge’s AI-driven analytics and LS ELECTRIC’s software capabilities, designed to intelligently regulate energy consumption and predict maintenance needs before issues occur.

Expanding beyond data centers, Honeywell and LS ELECTRIC will co-develop a grid- and building-aware Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) tailored for commercial and industrial facilities. The modular microgrid solution will combine LS ELECTRIC’s energy storage technology with Honeywell’s dynamic energy control software to forecast optimal energy sources and costs using real-time data, weather insights, and utility analytics.
