HiTHIUM, a global leader in long-duration energy storage technology, has signed a multi-year supply agreement (MSA) with Bertel O. Steen Power Solutions (BOS Power) to deliver 3GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway through 2027.
The deal will cover a pipeline of utility-scale projects starting from 30MWh and upwards, deploying HiTHIUM’s advanced DC block portfolio, including the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h BESS and ∞Block 5MWh BESS.
As part of the collaboration, HiTHIUM will provide technical training and certification to BOS Power, enabling it to become a certified service provider for localized operations and maintenance. This step is expected to strengthen customer support and enhance efficiency across the Nordic market.
HiTHIUM continues to push industry frontiers with innovations in long-duration energy storage (LDES) and sodium-ion battery technologies, including its ∞Cell N162Ah and next-generation 1175Ah and 587Ah cells. These solutions offer higher energy density, extended cycle life, and improved reliability, positioning the company at the forefront of renewable integration and grid stabilization.
The partnership’s first project is already underway in Denmark, marking HiTHIUM’s entry into the Nordic market.
“Partnering with BOS Power strengthens our presence in Northern Europe and supports the region’s renewable energy transition,” said Kelson Li, Senior Director of Sales, DACH, Northern & Eastern Europe, HiTHIUM. “Together, we are shaping the future of flexible, sustainable energy.”
BOS Power echoed the sentiment, with Kim Strate Kiegstad, Head of Energy Storage, noting: “This agreement highlights our commitment to delivering large-scale, high-quality storage systems that ensure reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure across Northern Europe.”
With over 100GWh in cumulative shipments and a climb to the Top 2 global ranking in 2025, HiTHIUM’s latest partnership signals a strong step forward in its mission to advance the global clean energy transition.
