HiTHIUM, a leading global energy storage manufacturer, has launched its latest innovation, the ∞Power Flexsso, a compact 10-foot battery energy storage system (BESS) designed to overcome transport and regulatory hurdles in utility-scale projects. The product was unveiled at a global launch event in Milan, Italy.
The ∞Power Flexsso is engineered to meet strict road transport standards, particularly in weight-restricted regions where hazardous materials face regulatory barriers. Each unit weighs under 26 tons, enabling compliance with common road freight rules without special permits.
With an energy density of ~423 kWh/m², the system is among the world’s most space-efficient BESS solutions. HiTHIUM emphasized its multi-layer safety features, including thermal runaway prevention and compliance with UL1973 and IEC 62619 standards, alongside sustainability elements such as recyclable materials and low-GWP refrigerant R32.
“The ∞Power Flexsso is more than a product—it’s a complete solution for developers and asset owners navigating complex transport and regulatory requirements,” said Luca Tonini, Senior Director of Global R&D and Product at HiTHIUM.
The system is factory-preassembled for faster deployment, reducing installation time and total cost of ownership. HiTHIUM confirmed that first deliveries of the ∞Power Flexsso are planned for Q2 2026, targeting markets across Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
