HiTHIUM, a global energy storage technology company, has achieved a major milestone with the first shipment of energy storage systems from its newly built Texas manufacturing plant on August 28. The move marks the company’s transition from construction to full-scale production in North America.

The Mesquite facility—HiTHIUM’s first U.S. system manufacturing center—has been designed with an annual capacity of 10 GWh, supported by advanced automation and precision processes. The plant enables faster response to customer demand, reduced lead times, and consistent quality standards, strengthening the company’s ability to serve the growing American clean energy market.

Speaking on the achievement, James Boswell, Vice President of HiTHIUM North America Operations, said:
“Our first shipment from Texas is more than a production milestone—it’s a promise to our U.S. customers. Local manufacturing lets us meet American standards, respond quickly to demand, and work with communities and partners to drive the clean energy transition.”

Beyond production, the facility emphasizes sustainability and community engagement, with energy-efficient processes, low-carbon materials, and local workforce development. The plant is expected to generate new jobs and growth opportunities for the Mesquite region while supporting HiTHIUM’s long-term ESG commitments.
