HiTHIUM, a global leader in energy storage technology, has announced the mass production and first deliveries of its next-generation ∞Cell 587Ah battery at its Xiamen manufacturing base, ushering in what the company calls the “500Ah+ high-capacity cell era.”
The ∞Cell 587Ah, developed over three years, delivers 94.5% efficiency, over 10,000 cycles, and enhanced safety and reliability, making it a cornerstone for long-duration energy storage applications. Derived from HiTHIUM’s earlier 1175Ah design, the new cell is integrated into the company’s modular ∞Pack and ∞Power platforms, enabling flexibility across both 2-hour and 4-hour systems.
Alongside the new cell, HiTHIUM also rolled out its ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h system, broadening its product portfolio to meet diverse market needs.
HiTHIUM’s Xiamen facility underwent major upgrades to support the production scale-up, achieving PPB-level defect rates, 17.1% higher efficiency, and precision manufacturing standards exceeding Cpk 1.33. Nearly 2,000 intelligent devices and advanced AI inspection systems ensure defect-free output at 0.3 mm precision.
“As global demand for long-duration storage rises, the ∞Cell 587Ah will play a central role in improving efficiency, lowering costs, and advancing high-quality industry development,” the company stated.
