Fluence Energy, Inc., a global leader in energy storage solutions, has expanded its U.S. manufacturing footprint with the launch of a new production facility in Houston, Texas. The facility, developed in partnership with Bergstrom, will produce advanced HVAC and chiller systems for Fluence’s flagship Gridstack Pro™ battery storage solutions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a domestic supply chain for grid-scale storage.

“With this Houston facility and our broader U.S. manufacturing network, U.S.-made battery energy storage is playing a growing role in domestic power production and energy security,” said John Zahurancik, President, Fluence Americas.

The partnership leverages Bergstrom’s two decades of experience in battery-based HVAC solutions to deliver high-performance, locally manufactured thermal management systems. According to Dan Giovannetti, President and CEO of Bergstrom, the collaboration “strengthens both companies’ positions in supporting secure and sustainable energy solutions in the U.S.”

Fluence now draws on five U.S.-based manufacturing sites producing everything from battery cells and modules to inverters, controls, and enclosures. Collectively, these partnerships are expected to support more than 1,200 U.S. manufacturing jobs in 2025.
