ACME Solar Holdings has announced a major strategic move by placing an order exceeding 3.1 GWh for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy. The procurement—one of the largest of its kind in India—aims to bolster the company’s renewable energy portfolio, particularly its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and battery-integrated projects.

The newly ordered BESS units will be deployed across multiple states in India, with project commissioning timelines set between the next 12 to 18 months. The delivery of these storage systems will be executed in phases over a period of four to eight months within the current financial year.

ACME Solar confirmed that the order has been secured well within the allocated budget, contributing to capital expenditure efficiency while ensuring adherence to high standards of technical performance and supplier reliability. The early acquisition is expected to streamline project execution and accelerate revenue generation.

The equipment meets global safety and quality benchmarks, including certifications from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL), reinforcing its safety, efficiency, and durability credentials.
