Jinko ESS, a global leading energy storage company, has secured a 10MWh energy storage project in Southeast Asia region, and will deploy a 10MWh off-grid energy storage system to provide reliable renewable power for remote factories and entities. The project features two Jinko ESS G2 5MWh liquid-cooled systems and two state-of-the-art 2.5MVA Jinko PCS SKIDs, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2025. This marks Jinko ESS’s first off-grid industrial-scale project in Southeast Asia.

Featured by specialized off-grid application design with grid-forming (GFM) capability, real black-start function, and VSG operation mode of Jinko PCS, Jinko’s off-grid solution benefits the region with accessible, affordable, and reliable green power supply. Friendly to operate in parallel with gensets and PV field, Jinko ESS Suntera G2, with its 94% round-trip efficiency, will significantly reduce diesel consumption by 90%. Advanced liquid cooling maintains cell temperatures within ±2.5°C despite Southeast Asia’s tropical climate, while multi-level fire isolation and AI-driven thermal controls guarantee safety in unmanned operations.
