In a major boost to the U.S. clean energy and manufacturing landscape, BaRupOn LLC has unveiled the Liberty American Manufacturing Park (LAMP)—a 638-acre, state-of-the-art industrial campus in Liberty, Texas that integrates large-scale solar energy generation and battery storage into its core infrastructure.
As part of the project’s commitment to energy resilience and sustainability, LAMP features a combined 430MW energy system—230MW from natural gas and a significant 200MW from solar power, bolstered by advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This hybrid generation model offers manufacturers reliable, on-site clean power while reducing reliance on strained or carbon-heavy grid systems.
“This is more than an industrial park—it’s an energy-secure foundation for next-gen manufacturing,” said Rupa Tammabattula, CEO of BaRupOn. “Our solar and storage infrastructure gives tenants a strategic edge, helping them meet both operational demands and ESG goals.”
Set just 40 minutes from Houston, LAMP’s location is not only ideal for logistics and supply chain access, but also emblematic of Texas’s evolving leadership in solar deployment and energy storage innovation. The BESS component ensures round-the-clock power availability, making the site particularly attractive to advanced manufacturing, chemical processing, and clean tech firms.
“LAMP is a bold answer to energy uncertainty and supply chain disruption,” said Derek Matthews, Chief Strategy Officer. “With solar and storage at its core, we’re offering manufacturers not just space—but resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.”
Beyond infrastructure, the project is set to create thousands of clean energy-aligned jobs during construction and operation. BaRupOn is also offering flexible occupancy options, with facility sizes ranging from 100,000 to over 1 million square feet.
With LAMP, BaRupOn is not only reshoring American industry—it’s powering it with the sun.
