This innovative collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive range of services, including planning, financing, operation, and maintenance of solar plants and battery storage systems, without requiring clients to incur substantial upfront costs. Instead, customers will subscribe to a service package that covers all aspects of energy management, potentially extending to EV-charging infrastructure in specific scenarios.
The initiative is grounded in long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) that offer significant benefits such as cost savings by decreasing reliance on grid energy, generating new income streams through participation in flexibility markets, reducing carbon footprints, and ensuring compliance with EU-taxonomy regulations for future-ready businesses.
Å Entelios, a subsidiary of the Å Energi group owned by Statkraft and 30 municipalities, manages 24 TWh of power for over 9,000 enterprise customers, emphasizing the reduction of carbon footprints and the promotion of renewable energy.
