The online release conference, themed “Reliable Energy Storage with EVE Energy’s Big Batteries,” showcased the cutting-edge technology of the Mr. Flagship Series, introducing the revolutionary Mr. Big battery cell and Mr. Giant system.

The Mr. Big battery cell boasts an impressive capacity of up to 628Ah, leveraging third-generation high-speed stacking technology to achieve an outstanding energy efficiency of 96%. Complementing this, the Mr. Giant system utilizes a standard 20-foot container, providing a substantial energy capacity of 5 MWh and maintaining a high energy efficiency of 95%.

Dr. Yuan Dingding, CTO at EVE Energy’s LFP battery division, highlighted that the Mr. Flagship Series, grounded in electrochemical technology and theories, incorporates innovative features such as current collection, 3T technology, and the 14μm separator. These advancements minimize heat loss between charging and discharging cycles, presenting products that are “more efficient, simpler, and safer,” thereby redefining the landscape of Energy Storage Systems (ESS).

Breakthrough Innovations Driving Efficiency and Profitability

In pursuit of improved energy efficiency and enhanced customer profitability, the EVE Energy R&D team applied an innovative model of electrochemical current collection based on the principles of electrochemistry. Introducing battery tabs and poles with “golden section ratio” positions and sizes has created an electronic “expressway,” resulting in a breakthrough in energy efficiency.

EVE Energy’s commitment to creating batteries with vitality is deeply ingrained in its corporate culture. A 1% increase in energy efficiency, based on electrochemical principles, can lead to an impressive RMB 3.6 million increase in operating income over the entire lifecycle, according to calculations.

Innovative 3T Technology: Transforming Thermal Dynamics

Addressing the challenge of temperature uniformity in large battery volumes, EVE Energy introduced the innovative 3T technology, a core feature of the Mr. Flagship Series. Inspired by the science fiction classic “The Three-Body Problem,” the technology transforms thermal diffusion in three-dimensional space during charge-discharge cycles into heat exchange in two-dimensional space, successfully mitigating heat generation issues in large-capacity batteries.

The 3T technology has reduced temperature differences from 8°C to 1.5°C for Mr. Big batteries, enabling Mr. Giant systems to achieve up to 95% energy efficiency, with controlled temperature differences below 3°C and a 5°C decrease in the maximum temperature.

EVE Energy’s dedication to battery reverence and process innovation is evident in the Mr. Big integrated system, which, compared to common 314Ah solutions, has reduced the number of battery cells by 50%. At the system level, a 50% reduction in welding spots, steel strips, end plates, information collection points, and cables has been achieved through integral large pack design.

The use of 14μm separators in the Mr. Flagship Series, exceeding industry standards in thickness, significantly enhances the safety performance of batteries. Yuan Dingding emphasized the specially coated separator technology’s excellent thermal shutdown effect, ensuring increased safety through double-sided coating.
