Oriana Power Limited has secured three new Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts for solar power projects in Rajasthan, adding a total of 32 MW of ground-mounted solar capacity to its portfolio.

The projects, awarded by private sector clients, also include Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with a combined capacity of 20 MWh. The integration of storage is expected to enhance grid stability and address intermittency by enabling energy storage and dispatch when required.

The total EPC contract value stands at ₹162.68 crore, while the company will also provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for two years, valued at ₹1 crore. Both figures are exclusive of GST.

Among the projects, Kesari Alloys Private Limited has awarded the largest contract, comprising a 16 MW solar installation coupled with 10 MWh of BESS, valued at ₹74.34 crore. The remaining two projects have been awarded by Ramayna Ispat Private Limited and Duggar Fiber Private Limited. Each of these projects will have a capacity of 8 MW along with 5 MWh of storage and is valued at ₹44.17 crore.

All three projects are located in Jodhpur, a region known for its high solar irradiation. Oriana Power’s scope includes end-to-end execution, covering design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.

The company confirmed that the contracts are not related party transactions and that none of its promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding companies. All agreements have been executed on an arm’s length basis.

This development highlights the increasing adoption of integrated solar-plus-storage solutions in India and further strengthens Oriana Power’s presence in the renewable energy sector.
