Pace Digitek Limited has secured a significant renewable energy contract from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL), reinforcing its footprint in Karnataka’s expanding clean energy sector. The development was disclosed in a regulatory filing dated February 10, 2026.

The project entails the construction of a 250 MWAC Solar PV plant integrated with a 250 MW / 1,100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Pavagada Solar Park, one of India’s largest solar hubs. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 17,750 million, including GST.

According to the company, the contract is awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed within 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or the Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement. The project is expected to operate for 25 years, in line with the terms specified in the Request for Selection (RfS) and PPA.

The electricity generated and stored will be supplied at a tariff of Rs. 5.51 per unit. The integration of battery storage with solar power aims to enhance grid stability and provide a reliable power supply during non-solar hours.
