EVE Energy has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swedish energy storage system integrator Vimab BESS AB at the 2025 GENERA Energy and Environment International Trade Fair in Madrid. The partnership aims to deploy 1.48 GWh of energy storage capacity across Northern Europe to support the region’s accelerating clean energy transition.

The Nordic region—considered a leader in global renewable energy adoption—is experiencing increasing grid pressures due to the intermittency of wind and solar, combined with rising electrification demand. Large-scale energy storage solutions have emerged as a critical component in stabilising the grid, addressing supply–demand imbalances and mitigating electricity price fluctuations.

Under the agreement, EVE Energy will serve as a key technology supplier, providing Vimab BESS AB with high-performance energy storage batteries, integrated system solutions, and technical support. The first batch of products has already been scheduled for delivery in December, signalling a rapid execution timeline and strong confidence between both parties.

Aleksandra Kostic, CEO of Vimab DOO, a subsidiary of Vimab BESS AB, said the Nordic market is entering a phase of “diversified development and value creation.” She added that EVE Energy’s technical capabilities and delivery performance align closely with the company’s needs, reinforcing the decision to deepen the partnership.

Jimmy Ye, European Sales Director of Energy Storage at EVE Energy, said the collaboration reflects both companies’ shared commitment to advancing Europe’s energy transition. “Vimab BESS AB brings strong project execution capabilities and operational experience. This partnership builds on our continued cooperation and leverages our complementary strengths to help accelerate Europe’s green energy goals,” he said.

EVE Energy emphasised that Europe’s varied climate and geographical conditions require high standards of performance, environmental resilience and operational safety in energy storage systems. The company said its solutions offer high energy density, advanced safety features and an intelligent battery management system designed for stable operation under extreme conditions. It will also provide full lifecycle support to Vimab BESS AB, from delivery through to installation, operation and maintenance.

The company is strengthening its European presence through local partnerships and enhanced regional services. With support from its German office, EVE Energy continues to expand local sales, engineering and after-sales capabilities to offer faster response times and tailored solutions. The collaboration with Vimab BESS AB is described as a key step in its localisation strategy, leveraging local market expertise to meet evolving European energy needs.
