BluPine Energy, one of India’s leading renewable energy developers, has secured a 150 MW project under SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 GW (6 GWh) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction. The project, awarded to Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., BluPine’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), was won at a competitive tariff of ₹6.75/kWh.

The FDRE tender — one of the largest of its kind — aims to supply assured peak-hour renewable power backed by energy storage systems, ensuring round-the-clock availability of clean energy.

Commenting on the win, Neerav Nanavaty, CEO of BluPine Energy, said, This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio. As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability.

The project will deliver firm renewable power during critical peak hours (00:00–08:00 and 17:00–24:00 daily), supporting grid stability and helping utilities meet morning and evening demand surges through sustainable energy sources. A 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) ensures long-term visibility for the project and strengthens BluPine Energy’s expanding national footprint.
