Volvo Group Unveils PU2000: Next-Gen Smart Battery Energy Storage System

Volvo Group has taken a bold step into the energy solutions market with the launch of the PU2000 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), officially introduced at its Customer Day event in Gothenburg. Designed and manufactured in Sweden under Volvo Energy, the PU2000 is built to optimize energy costs, enhance resilience, and accelerate the global transition to electrification.

The PU2000 integrates seamlessly with the Volvo Cloud Energy Management System (VEMS) and Volvo Site Controller, enabling real-time monitoring, advanced site energy management, and cost-optimized operations.
