JBM Green Energy Systems Secures 3 GWh BESS Orders, to Deploy 1 GWh for SJVN

JBM Green Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. (JBMG), the lithium-ion battery division of JBM Auto Ltd., has announced a significant milestone with its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) orderbook soaring to 3 GWh. This expansion includes a major 1 GWh deployment for SJVN Ltd. and several other customers across India.

The growing demand is a testament to JBMG’s leadership in high-voltage lithium-ion energy storage solutions. The company operates India’s largest high-voltage lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in the Delhi-NCR region, with an annual production capacity of 6 GWh.

Backed by JBM Auto’s strong legacy in green mobility and advanced energy systems, JBMG delivers scalable battery storage solutions tailored for diverse applications—from passenger and commercial electric vehicles to grid-connected BESS projects ranging from mini-grids to multi-gigawatt-scale deployments.

The upcoming installations will feature cutting-edge, grid-integrated technologies designed to support key functions such as energy time-shifting, frequency regulation, and peak load shaving. These systems will aid the integration of solar energy and contribute to the stability of India’s grid infrastructure, playing a vital role in the nation’s renewable energy goals.
