Atlas Renewable Energy, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, has solidified a significant partnership with Codelco, Chile’s state-owned mining giant and the world’s top copper producer. This landmark agreement entails a 24/7 power purchase agreement (PPA) for the provision of 375 GWh of renewable energy annually, facilitated by a cutting-edge solar project featuring an integrated battery energy storage system, set to be implemented in Chile.
The PPA, incorporating state-of-the-art technology including battery storage, comes after Codelco’s public tender process, where Atlas Renewable Energy emerged victorious. The commencement of clean energy supply is slated for 2026, with a duration spanning 15 years.

Notably, Atlas has previously delivered successful solar projects such as the Javiera Solar Plant in 2015 and the Lar do Sol Solar Plant in 2023, solidifying its position as a trusted partner in the realm of renewable energy.
