Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL) has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the re-tendering process, seeking the appointment of a consultant for the development of a 12/15 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for the existing 5 MW Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) project at Gujarat Solar Park in Charanka village. The Chief Project Officer (CPO) of GPCL released the tender on January 24, 2024.
The tender documents, outlining the requirements for the preparation of Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR), Detailed Project Report (DPR), and coordination of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) bid process, along with Project Management Consultancy (PMC), can be downloaded from the official GPCL website and the designated tender platforms.
Interested parties must pay the prescribed tender fee and submit the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) along with the physical submission of tender documents by February 17, 2024, through Registered Post A.D. or Speed Post to the GPCL office in Gandhinagar.
Key dates include the original tender upload on January 25, 2024, a Pre-Bid Meeting on February 2, 2024, and the deadline for online tender submission on February 16, 2024. The physical receipt of bids is set for February 17, 2024, and the opening of both physical and online bids is scheduled for February 19, 2024.
The completion schedule outlines milestones, including the submission of the Draft Pre-Feasibility Report within three weeks of the Letter of Intent (LOI), and subsequent stages leading to the Project Management Consultancy.
