Hull Street Energy made a strategic investment into Flatiron Energy a certified B Corp (pending). Flatiron is a company that develops, owns, and operates utility-scale energy storage in order to meet the growing demand for decarbonizing the electric grid. Flatiron is managed by an experienced team of energy storage experts with more than 25 years of experience in standalone energy storage. This team has successfully developed more than 6 GWh in energy storage projects across key energy markets throughout the country. Flatiron works with utilities and landowners to create the next-generation energy storage infrastructure to support a carbon-free electricity grid.

HSE actively seeks opportunities to invest in infrastructure and transition-critical businesses. Grid-connected energy storage will be increasingly important as the North American energy system decarbonizes. This will allow for the development of intermittent clean renewables. HSE invests in Flatiron to expand its presence in the rapidly-growing segment of energy storage.
