LG Energy Solution showcased its latest energy storage system (ESS) technologies at RE+ 2025, the world’s leading renewable energy trade fair held at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
Under the theme “One Stop ESS Solutions – Engineered, Delivered, Serviced for the North American Market,” the company highlighted its unique position as the only battery maker with a fully localized value chain in North America, from cell production to system delivery.
Key innovations on display included:
- JF2 AC/DC LINK system with 5.1MWh storage capacity, designed for the North American grid and fully compliant with UL9540A-LSFP standards.
- Industry-first prismatic LFP battery prototypes produced in North America.
- Pouch-type LFP battery products (JF2 and JF3) delivering ultra-high energy of over 500Wh.
- Next-Generation UPS Batteries for AI data centers, capable of delivering 527kW per cabinet for five minutes, doubling performance while halving cabinet requirements.
- JF2S Home Battery Module (15.9kWh), offering compact and flexible energy storage for households.
