Desay Battery, a globally recognized leader in energy storage solutions, showcased its latest innovations at The Smarter E Europe 2025 in Munich, one of Europe’s largest and most influential energy industry exhibitions. The event served as a key platform for Desay to unveil its next-generation technologies and solidify strategic partnerships aimed at accelerating its global expansion.
One of the highlights of Desay’s exhibition was the official launch of its UPS 2.0 battery system, specifically designed for data centers, IT departments, and telecommunications providers. The UPS 2.0 features a single lithium-ion cabinet supporting 300kVA, engineered for a service life of up to 15 years. Its design promises lower overall project costs and enhanced safety through intelligent real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance. The system also offers optional early fire detection capabilities and can be integrated into a cloud-based security network platform for improved active safety management.
In a significant move to bolster its presence in the European market, Desay Battery signed a strategic cooperation agreement with TÜV Rheinland. This partnership will facilitate EU certification for the UPS 2.0 (49kWh, 8C) and Desay’s 5MWh energy storage container system. Additionally, Desay announced a 2GW partnership framework agreement with German renewable energy firm DOS Primärenergie Sonne GmbH (DOS). The alliance aims to support clean energy deployments across the Middle East and Latin America, contributing to a scalable model for energy transitions in Gulf countries.
At the exhibition, Desay Battery also presented a wide array of high-performance products, including lithium-ion cells (DLP-100, DLP-280, DLP-314), the DSP-60 sodium-ion battery, and modular storage systems using 100Ah and 280Ah lithium modules. Other featured solutions included the Lumos C38I DC ESS energy storage cabinets (215kWh and 344kWh), LV and HV residential ESS systems, and the Vita 5MWh utility-scale liquid-cooled container system.
Desay Battery’s innovations and strategic momentum were recently recognized with its inclusion in the BloombergNEF Energy Storage Tier 1 List for Q2 2025, highlighting its growing influence in the global storage market.
Looking ahead, Desay Battery reaffirmed its commitment to international expansion, continuous investment in R&D, and driving sustainable energy transformation through advanced technology and cross-border collaboration.
